Experimental Colon Loop Seromuscular Cover Cystoplasty in Dogs

Abstract
Nine apparently healthy mongrel dogs were divided in to two groups , the first group contained 6 animals which subjected to 25% partial cystectomy followed by colon loop seromuscular cover cystoplasty, the second group contained 3 animals as control group subjected to 25% partial cystectomy followed by cystorrhaphy. the evaluation of this experemental study was performed via clinical observation. Laboratory estimation of serum urea and creatinine at day 0, 3,7,15,21, and day 28 postoperative. Ultrasonographic evaluation one week postoperative and one month postoperative. Contrast cystographic evaluation at 12th week post operative . Gross and histopathological evaluation at the 6th week and the 12th week postoperative.
